Summit League Tournament

There was definitely a sharp contrast in the first two games of the Summit League Tournament. In the first game Saturday night, #1 seed Oral Roberts routed #8 Centenary 84-56. Centenary was never in this game. Their two best players, Nick Stallings and Tyrone Hamilton had bad games and the Gents struggled to establish an inside game. Moses Ehambe was hot from 3-point range for Oral Roberts. The Summit League's sixth man of the year, Robert Jarvis, didn't even play for Oral Roberts due to an injury.
In the second game, IUPUI, he #2 seed, edged UMKC, the #7 seed, 69-65. The game was tied late at both 62 and 65 a piece. The game turned when a lose ball scramble that looked like it would be UMKC's ball on the possession arrow with them down by 2 points was ruled a foul by UMKC instead. IUPUI survived despite sub-par games by both George Hill and Gary Patterson.
