Ben Hansbrough Transferring

Postby BYUfan1 » Wed Apr 09, 2008 2:25 am

Mississippi State guard Ben Hansbrough will transfer following the spring semester. Hansbrough was the team's fourth leading scoring this season, averaging 10.5 points. He has not announced where he is going to next. It seems strange to me that a starter on a good team would leave, but I wish him the best of luck, as long as he doesn't transfer to Arkansas. :P

The last transfer from Miss St, Gary Ervin was the starting point guard for the Hogs for two years, but played out of control so much, that he was more of a liability than a help. I too, really hope that Hansbrough is not thinking of Arkansas.

He decided to go to Notre Dame. He also considered Purdue and Oklahoma State. If he wasn't going to say at Mississippi State, I would have rather wanted to have him go to Purdue. It will hard to root for him now, since I don't like Notre Dame.

Taking a collection to pay him @ Purdue. We are 1 key player from being a "player" next year at the highest level.
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Talking about Purdue, Scott Martin is transferring to Notre Dame as well.
