Bad News For UMES
More bad news hits Maryland-Eastern Shore as star guard Ed Tyson has been ruled academically ineligible for the 2008-09 season. The 6-2 guard led the team in scoring with a 20.2 average. He also had 73 3-pointers and 54 steals while starting in all 32 games for the Hawks. Tyson was second team All-MEAC last season. The team finished last season with a 4-28 record and 2-14 in the MEAC.
