I must be losing what little memory I had. A buddy at work was talking about Ball State's Sweet 16 run last year....how do I not remember that...at all?
I'm sure it must have got plenty of press.
Anyway, I think there must be some blissful students at that little school right now. If they can win their next 2 football games they can really throw those shoulders back. I may have to get a Jersey...I really like their uniforms and the Helmet Logo.

Ball State?

Re: Ball State?
Ball State was terrible in basketball last year. They were 6-24 overall and 5-11 in the conference. I am a Ball State fan as far as MAC basketball is concerned, but I am not a Ball State historian. The only Sweet 16 I remember Ball State being in was 1990. Dick Hunsaker, now at Utah Valley State, was the coach and Chandler Thompson was their best player. They lost to the eventual champion UNLV that year, but they got closer to beating UNLV than anyone else did in the tournament that year. I don't remember the margin, I think Ball State lost by two.

Thanks BYUfan...because I thought I must have been in a coma. I remember Butler and then I remember George Mason. Ball St. gave me a total blank. But I am NOT a memory guy!

Pretty impressive memory. At my age I can't even remember my age!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.
