Demetri Goodson dribbled from end to end and made a layup with 0.9 seconds to help Gonzaga defeat Western Kentucky 83-81. Steffphon Pettigrew scored on a tip-in to tie the score at 81. Goodson took the inbounds pass and went straight to the basket with almost no resistance.

Matt Bouldin scored 20 for Gonzaga. A.J. Slaughter had 24 points for Western Kentucky and Orlando Mendez-Valdez scored 25 points, with 17 of those coming in the first nine minutes of the game. On a day when not much exciting happened, this was definitely the game of the day.

Great game! I thought WK was going to pull the upset and make their 2nd consecutive Sweet 16. The Goodson end-2-end unmolested drive was ridiculous!
