Clemson-Liberty

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Nov 17, 2009 5:08 pm

The game between Clemson and Liberty last year at the Littlejohn Coliseum was a close one that the Tigers pulled in the end. This time around, the game was a blowout almost as soon as the game started. Clemson won 79-39 and was leading 42-19 at the half. The score was 17-1 Clemson before Liberty made its first field goal. The Flames had 28 turnovers and only five assists in the game. Liberty shot only 30.4% from the field. David Potter made five three-pointers and scored 17 points for Clemson. Also for Clemson, Trevor Booker had 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Did it become one of those games you just watched to see how bad Liberty would be, maintain rather, and how bad of stats they could post? I have almost turn really bad games before until I get attracted by how bad somebody is getting pasted.

It was part of that 24-hour marathon so I just kept watching. I knew it was going to be bad before it even started because Liberty lost its coach and best players from last year's team.

Well that is a good reason too. :D

I've just watched some of those all the way through like a mosquito drawn to light!
