George Washington-East Carolina

Postby BYUfan1 » Wed Dec 23, 2009 1:04 am

In what turned out to be a very interesting game, George Washington defeated East Carolina in overtime 84-80. Damian Hollis converted on key free throws down the stretch and ended up with 21 points and 3 rebounds. Also for GW, point guard Tony Taylor had 20 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals. East Carolina's offense went stale in the overtime with most of its points coming off of free throws. For the Pirates, Brock Young had 20 points and 10 assists, and Jamar Abrams had 15 points and 7 rebounds.
