The game was not good as last year's battle, but still interesting. The teams combined for no free throws but shot 41 total in the second half in BC's 79-67 victory. UMass struggled shooting all game long. The Minutemen shot 36.8% from the field and made only 3 of 21 3-pointers in the game. Anthony Gurley, the ex-Demon Deacon returned to his hometown and had 23 points and 10 rebounds for rebounds.

Cory Raji was playing on a bad knee he injured in practice earlier this week but scored 18 points, all of them coming in the second half. Joe Trapani had shooting problems in the first half but finished with 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 3 steals.
The critic is one who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.
