San Diego started out quickly and led Florida A&M 38-21 with about 5 minutes left in the first half. However, the Rattlers ran off a 15-4 spurt to make the game competitive at the half. In the second half, the Rattlers did close within two, but the Toreros hung on to win 74-64. For San Diego, Brandon Jackson had 23 points, while Chris Lewis and Robert Mafra each scored 17 points. For Florida A&M, Dale Hughes had 17 points, and the team's leading scorer for the season, Christopher Walker scored 13 points.
