North Carolina Central-Virginia Tech

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Jan 19, 2010 10:58 am

It is obvious that NCCU was way overmatched in this game when Malcolm Delaney doesn't make a basket and Jeff Allen only scores 7 points, but Virginia Tech still wins 72-30. This marked the second game in a row that Virginia Tech had a lead of 50-16 at some point in the game. NCCU shot 14.8% from the field in the first half and 26.5% for the game. The Eagles' top player, C.J. Wilkerson, fouled out with only 2 points. To make matters worse, starter Vincent Davis left the game early with an ankle injury.
