Freddie Riley missed two 3-pointers, one at the end of the game, to allow the Bonnies to defeat UMass 70-69. St. Bonaventure did not score in the final two minutes of the game, but the Minutemen could not capitalize as Anthony Gurley missed a free throw before the Riley misses. UMass has now lost four straight games.
Andrew Nicholson scored 15 of 30 of St. Bonaventure's first half points and finished the game with 26 points and 5 blocks. Also for the Bonnies, Michael Davenport had 16 points and 10 boards. Ricky Harris scored 22 points, and Gurley had 16 points and 5 rebounds for the Minutemen.
