Montana State led Northern Colorado 52-48 with 8:02 left in the game, but the Northern Colorado Bears went on a 15-2 run over the next minutes and went on to defeat the Bobcats 74-68. In the game, the Bears made 29 of 33 free throws. In his first start for Northern Colorado this season, Neal Kingman and 14 points and 10 rebounds. Will Figures led the Bears in scoring with 20 points. For the Bobcats, 6'9" Braden Johnson made four 3-pointers and scored a total of 16 points. In the losing effort, Bobby Howard had 13 points.
