Jacksonville-Belmont

Belmont defeated Jacksonville 73-70 to end the 10-game winning streak for the Dolphins. Belmont is now 9-5 in the Atlantic Sun and Jacksonville falls to 9-4 and possibly out of first place depending on what Lipscomb does tonight against North Florida. Belmont got 13 points and 11 rebounds from center Mick Hedgepeth and 16 points and 3 steals from guard Ian Clark. In a losing effort, Ben Smith led all scorers with 25 points.
