Loyola, MD started out down 12-0 and eventually battled back to the tie the game but eventually ran out of gas as Canisius defeated the Greyhounds 74-62. Loyola shot 42.4% from the field but was only 3-for-16 from the 3-point line. Jamal Barney had 20 points and eight rebounds to pace Loyola. Also for the Greyhounds, Robert Olson chipped in with 13 points and three steals. Tomas Vazquez-Simmons led the way for the Golden Griffins by registering 18 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Frank Turner added 10 points, three rebounds, and 6 assists to the winning effort. Loyola falls to 5-12 in conference play, and Canisius moves to 8-9.
