Alabama State-LUC

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 12:01 am

By beating Alabama State 74-46, Loyola University Chicago goes 6-0 for the first time since 1979. Turnovers and poor shooting killed the Hornets from the start. For the game, the LUC Ramblers had an edge of 25-9 in points off turnovers. Alabama State had 19 turnovers in the game and shot just 43.5% (10-23) from the foul line and 26.7% (4-15) from 3-point range. LUC had four players finish in double figures with Geoff McCammon and Ben Averkamp getting 13 apiece. Jeff Middlebrooks was the Hornet to reach double figures, and he scored 13 points, making 4 of his 7 shots.
