Fresno State moves to 2-0 in the WAC and 6-6 overall with a 80-74 victory over Nevada. Nevada falls to 4-11 and 1-1 in the conference. For the Bulldogs, Tim Steed scored a career high 20 points, and Greg Smith dominated inside with 15 points and 9 rebounds. In a losing effort, Olek Czyz, a transfer from Duke, scored 26 points on 10-of-12 shooting from the floor. Wolk Pack point guard chipped in with 16 points.
