Loyola Marymount-Seattle

Postby BYUfan1 » Tue Feb 01, 2011 2:32 am

The Loyola Marymount Lions took advantage of early turnovers to take an early lead over the Seattle Redhawks that eventually turned into a 81-64 victory. The game was marred by 48 fouls being called in the game. Seattle's coach, Cameron Dollar, had to be escorted out by security after receiving his second technical foul. Drew Viney led the Lions with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Also for LMU, Ashley Hamilton had 16 points, 9 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Aaron Broussard had 22 points and 6 rebounds for Seattle. Sterling Carter chipped in with 17 points but was just 5 of 19 from the field and 2 of 9 from 3-point range for the Redhawks. The 3-point shooter was poor for both teams as they were a combined 6 for 31 from long distance. Seattle is now 8-14 on the season as LMU improves to 9-13.
