Cal State Fullerton-Portland State

Junior guard Kwame Vaughn scored a career-high 27 points to lead the Cal State Fullerton Titans (8-3) to a come-from-behind victory over the Portland State Vikings 92-86. Vaughn scored 23 points in the second half as the Titans shot 60% from the floor in the second half, including 8-of-10 from 3-point range. Portland State never trailed in the first half and led by as much as 12 points before taking a 42-36 into the halftime break. The Titans started the second half on a 8-2 run and took the lead for good 53-51 on a Orane Chin 3-pointer with 14:46 left in the game.
In support of Vaughn, Cal transfer D.J. Seeley scored 23 points while fellow Cal transfer Omondi Amoke registered a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Portland State seemed to lose most of their energy they had earlier in the game by the time the second half started. With the loss, the Vikings (6-6) fall to 0-6 on the road. Despite the loss, Portland State had six players in double figures with Charles Odum leading the way with 19 points. Lateef McMullen made 2 of his 5 3-point attempts on his way to scoring 14 points along with registering 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
