It was a tale of two halves as the Utah State Aggies defeated the Idaho Vandals 67-50. Idaho was leading at the half 29-22. The Aggies shot 28% (9-32) in the first half and 75% (15-20) in the second half. Idaho shot 36% (18-50) in the game but shot 31% (8-26) in the second half. Sophomore Preston Medlin led the way for Utah State by registering 32 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists. Medlin scored 29 of his 32 points in the second half. For the game, Medlin made 11 of his 13 shots from the field, including 6 of 8 from long distance. Senior Brockeith Pane chipped in with 12 points, 7 assists, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal for Utah State. Utah State transfer Deremy Geiger accumulated 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists for Idaho.
