Wow, I'm so disappointed.

Do most of the people that voted democratic even realize who Nancy Pelosi is?

In my opinion, the party has too many liberals in place of power (Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Pelosi, Carl Levin, etc.)

The republicans really blew this thing

Well, I thought the Democrats would win the House, but not by as much as they did. I also thought that the GOP would hold onto the Senate.

The reason I'm disappointed is that I'm uneasy with the libs in charge. I don't want Nancy Pelosi having that much power in our government. If something happens to Bush or Cheney, she's the one in charge

Exactly!!

Im afraid of what might happen if the President doesnt go along with EVERYTHING they want....Will they dangle impeachment for phony trumped up charges about "spying" or some other crap??

DONT trust Pelosi's word that they are not going to seek impeachment.

My biggest fear is if the Dems (whos party has been hijacked by liberals) wins the White House in 2008 with the Congress still in their control. That's what I'm disappointed about. I thought the American people would try to see what they're headed for down the road. How are they going to deal with Iran? The fact is, they'll try diplomacy, and when they find out that that won't work, they'll stick their heads in the sand, stop listening, and just hum to themselves whenever Ahmadenijad threatens Israel and U.S. They're going to let these zealots get away with a nuke.

I don't think I was this paranoid, no. I'm just afraid they won't take the Iran threat for what it is.

You do realize that what you're worried about is exactly what the Republican party did the last time there was a Democrat in the white House dont you.

Uh. The difference being that Clinton actually committed a crime.

Hey, everybody knows that Clinton didn't inhale right?

(or were we talking about a different thingy here? maybe he just 'exhaled' a little, you think?)

Yes, we are talking about something different.

The Clinton impeachment was for lying under oath, a crime in any place in America. And a crime that says he can NEVER practice law again.

These were not trumped up charges by a Republican majority, there were "high crimes and misdemeanors" that the Constitution speaks of.

I hope you realize that Clinton's impeachment had nothing to do with drug use??

Personally I'd consider Kim Jong Ill to be far worse than Saddam.

I disagree, Saddam has been responsible for over 1 million deaths since he was President of Iraq....(President being a strech of the word).

The WMD's were there, but we gave them plenty of time to move them (some believe Syria) After years of useless UN resolutions.

It is sad that most people believe Iraq did not have WMD, when we know he used them on his own people and Iranians during the 8 year war.

Good riddance to him.
