Does anyone have Google Earth Pro? I want to find out if it is worth the $400 for the upgrade. Are the images better or does it just have better bells and whistles? If the images are really good, I think I am going to have to break down and get it.

I know it is very cool. If the pro version has better images, I am going to have to get it.

Don't know the difference, Spence. I usually judge those things based on application and need.

I have no special need for the pro version. I thought if the resolution was better it would be cool to have. I travel a lot and if I could take a look at some of the roads I would be on before I drive them, that would have its advantages, but I don't really need it. I use "streets and trips" quite a bit, but If the pictures aren't better on pro I see no reason to spend the money. Thanks.

Download the trial and see if you like it or not.

Or you could just get the $20 upgrade instead of the $400 one.

Trial is at googleearth.com

I didn't know that the trial was of earth pro, I thought it was a test run of google earth. I figured the $20 version wouldn't be worth it or it would cost more then $20. Thanks I'll go with the trial and see what happens.
