Because one size fits all health is not fiscally feasible.

You're just a cold robotic machine, Spence. You have to get put through the meat grinder of the impersonal central planning agency, get a number stamped on your forehead, and you're all set to go :D

It's hard for me to believe that we are running at breakneck speed to a system of guv-mint that has evidence time after time that it does not work, and other guv-mints that are running from it.

It really makes no sense to me.

America has always been at its best when it was leading, not following. The socialists do not have any grasp on human nature and how that works.

Truer words have never been spoken! I have no idea where Socialism gets even a nub to stand on. No micro or macro study of human behavior gives it any hope what so ever. But when you let people get stupid enough, yet dreamy enough, and believe more in the power of mankind than you do mankind's empirical and historical proof of high fallacy, sloth, complacency, etc...you can pump a whole lot of lightning into Frankenstein's Bolts!

People are stupid...all of us. Man is the only life form I know of that considers something, finds the downfall in it, and then by something internal that seems to be unstoppably compelling...does it anyway. This happens to the best of us at times...so what do you think happens to those who stop to consider far less often?

Then you take 5 intelligent people all doing their thing and you can find many a bright spot in the acts. decision making, goals, and outcomes. But you put all 5 of them together allied in a set of specific tasks...and all the stupid comes out! Now imagine 500+, and 300+ million.

Then you consider a man doing a job, and doing it pretty well sometimes, and a guy that understands his fellow workers. You then give him a title that includes the word Manager...and 85% of the time you have an accident looking for a place to happen. Have you ever noticed (in the last 30 years) the leader who took the job reluctantly and fully knowing the weight of the position going in does a better job than any other attitude type in power? Have you also noticed a good leader is most often one who isn't sure if he has everyone's stamp of approval? Now, if you have a system of voluntary candidates (seeking a seat of power) and getting voted in (being approved of) how in the world can that have a real good result! You can't carve a leader from the masses raised on everybody wins, and everyone is of etreme value...innately...by simply being! It mentally, emotionally, and spiritually can't happen. I know that crushes fairy tales, and you can't get unicorns, rainbows, and little men in green holding pots of gold to dance around that banner (and I lament that) but it be, just what it be! And all the fuzzy love in the world won't change that!
