Good rant .... I have no idea what you are talking about .... those are the purest and best kinds of rants .... when nobody else knows what you are ranting about.

Thanks for the information, HuskerMoon.
Well, guess I'm in the age group that is outside of their marketing strategy.
Sounds to me like you are living proof that whoever coined the phrase "Football and Anime don't mix" was dead wrong.

I sure know what Anime is. That's a Japanese art of drawing. If you guys ever watched stuff like Dragon Ball Z (I haven't

), that's what it is. It's pretty catchy to the younger populus.

[quote="HuskerMoon"]Thanks Mountainman.
My guess here is that anybody over 30 isn't really going to know what the heck I'm talking about, and anyone over 30 who knows, probably knows because of their kids. (but not necessarily)
Sorry Husker Moon
I am a long ways over 30 by 47 years.
I have no idea what your talking about
My grandson Husker 1 may.

Anime has been around a long time, from the risque "Felix The Cat" to the more recent surge in its popularity with new programming on such outlets as Adult Swim and the Independent Films Channel.
I've never been a big fan of Anime but don't see why college football and Anime can't mix. Maybe someone should do an Anime with college football as the backdrop....

Sorry, Spence .... you're from the Wiley Coyote/ Roadrunner, Bugs Bunny/Yosemite Sam, and Tom and Jerry era .... you know, kind of like the Sphinx and the pyramids era ... stuff like that .... stuff like you find in a museum.
