East meets West

Postby Derek » Tue Jul 12, 2011 12:52 am

Well, it was quite a dinner, price wise and conversation wise. We sat for almost two and half hours at Morton's Steakhouse. The conversation went from our lives to politics to football to medical back to football etc etc.

It was quite a dinner and I had a blast. It was such an honor to get to meet donovan, and hope that when I'm back in town, or if he's down South that we can do it again.

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Indeed, it was a wonderful time. Not only was it East meets West, but the old and decrepit meets the youth and vigor. I have often thought those on this boards are truly friends; and spending this time with Derek only bore solid testimony of that.

Pretty cool and at one of my favorite restaurants. :D They closed the one closest to me so I only get to eat there when I travel.

All I can say is, 8) 8) 8)
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.
R. Reagan
