NYC Mayor Bloomberg is an idiot.

He finally cancelled the NYC marathon after so many people were mad at him deciding to go on with it. It is unfathomable to me that he would even consider having an event like this in the wake of a disaster. He is an elitist of the first degree.

Seems to me like there are a lot of other priorities to take care of first before an entertainment event. It seems like the logistics of holding the marathon would be difficult enough.

That is right. Bloomberg was going to make people who lost their homes give up their rooms to marathon participates and fans who had prebooked. I'm sorry, but you don't throw people who just lost their homes out of their hotel rooms because of an entertainment event. To even consider moving forward with that event speaks volumes about his character.

This guy might be the biggest idiot to ever hold the office of mayor for that city. And I include Koch in that as well.
I saw a cover of a magazine in the Richmond airport yesterday that said..."Bloomberg knows what's best for you"....and of course it was some liberal newsrag that I had never heard of.
