Injured Tide
---
Alabama Junior Linebacker, Dylan Moses reportedly suffered a torn ACL in practice Tuesday and is expected to miss the entire 2019 season.
In 15 games last season, Moses registered 86 tackles, 10 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
Nick Saban: "Certainly, this is a character check for our team, and we're going to do everything to support Dylan and the people that have the opportunity now to fill in for Dylan."
Alabama Starting Linebackers from last season, Christian Miller and Mack Wilson went on to the NFL. Moses was set to be the clear leader of the 2019 Alabama Linebacker squad.
Moses was listed as the Starting Middle Linebacker on the preseason depth chart ahead of freshman Shane Lee and sophomore Markail Benton.
While both Benton and Lee were highly touted coming out of high school; neither brings the type of experience to the table that Moses possesses.
Alabama is now in a difficult position in terms of replacing Moses so close to the start of the season.
In addition to Moses reportedly missing all of 2019, Senior Linebacker Joshua McMillon is expected to miss the entire season with a knee injury as well. Ale Kaho -- who briefly stepped away from the program in May -- could be the next in line to start. After Kaho, Saban & Defensive Coordinator Pete Golding would have to either move players to different positions or rely on one of several true freshmen to fill the void.
The McMillon injury came along with news that Trey Sanders, a five-star running back signee in the class of 2019, could reportedly miss the entire season with a foot injury suffered in practice this week. Saban confirmed Saturday that Sanders will have to undergo surgery as a result of the injury.
No doubt, the preseason has been brutal to the Crimson Tide.

My First Round Fantasy Conference pick is going to have to do some shuffling and scheming right out of the gate......

Well, at least they have Duke to get their feel before conference play.

Re: Injured Tide
I made a list of my concerns, Alabama's depth was number 565,677,000 on the list. Just above it was Armageddon.

Re: Injured Tide
darn, that’s a lot of concerns....... although there’s no reason to be concerned about Armageddon, Bruce Willis will save us.
......btw, where do the Seminoles and their ‘Tomahawk War Chant’ rank on that list?????
Boise State is one of my Fantasy Conference Teams, but the Seminoles are my Weekly Pick choice........ there are times when Hillbilly Behavior and Intellectual Acumen is questionable.

That's Donovan speak, for: "It will be determined by Boise State's coaches, and Florida State's assistants."

Tallahassee's first and largest brewery will be selling its popular beer at Doak Campbell Stadium during home football games at two locations inside the stadium and three areas outside of it. This is the first season beer will be sold at Doak, aside from the premium-seating Dunlap Champions Club, where FSU has sold alcohol since it opened in 2016.
and YES>>>THERE WILL BE COKE>>
The Coca-Cola Tailgate Zone, which debuted last season, returns with a new location closer to the Legacy Team Walk. The turnkey tailgate experience is admission-only, open to the public and provides food, drinks, access to restrooms and plenty of TV real estate to catch college football games from around the nation.

And we do have our own Dr. Pepper...Dr. Claude Pepper and the Pepper Library.

Re: Injured Tide
Other injuries around college football after week 1. JT Daniels at USC is out for the season. This will not buy the coach any extra time. This team needs to be good, not sure how good is good enough to keep his job.
Also, Northwestern losses QB TJ Green for the season as well. They need the offense to be much better than we saw Saturday. This is not going to help with that. Stanford also lost their QB in this game on a hit to the head. Hopefully it is nothing more than precautionary concussion protocol. Will see what the projections are for USC/Stanford Sat night.
