Well, I all ready had Auburn ahead of Boise in my poll.

Here was my top 10 this past week:
1. Oregon
2. Ohio State
3. Nebraska
4. Auburn
5. Boise State
6. TCU
7. Oklahoma
8. LSU
9. South Carolina
10. Alabama

Oregon will stay #1....Nebraska lost to Texas today, and Ohio State is getting beat 21-3 right now....so I will put Auburn #2 if Ohio State goes down. Also, Ok State, Missouri will be moving up quickly in my poll....and if OU wins today (they are up 17-0 right now) will be moving up fast.

Yeah, Mizzou is a sleeper IMO.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I think they are actually pretty equal....I did not see an Auburn team that looked better than Ark. I think Ark outgained Auburn by more than 100 yards (I will have to check). Special teams and refs won this game for Auburn today. Ark's special teams gave up 14 points (you can't do that and win). Then the refs gave Auburn 14 points on terrible calls. With 8 minutes left in the game...even after the special teams and ref help, the Hogs were down by 1 with the ball and driving (that's when the refs gave them one of those 2 bogus TD's).

I agree with WoVeU....on the road, backup QB, they started to press too much and Ark threw 2 picks in the last 6 minutes of the game.

Hard to knock Ark when they played them even for 3.5 quarters...and have Auburn in the top 4 or 5.

But I have a bone to pick with some of the Ark O! Wilson looked good...Petrino will make sure he has a good #2, but in many ways he looked better than Mallett. If he was better then Petrino would have him #1. To me that says many guys really stepped it up...I think they are leaning on Mallett too much and waiting on the Heisman Runner to make a play. (I saw guys do this when Pat White was playing, not a huge difference, but a receiver getting 1 less stride down the field can be pretty big often times.)

No hate...I thought the exclamation point was a laughing face. I was on my iphone. My apologies.

No problem -- I understand.

Some stats from the game that stand out: Ark outgained Auburn in the 2nd half by 200 yards of total offense (of course they gave up a huge kick off return to Auburn, the refs gave Auburn 7 points, and Auburn scored a couple late garbage TD's after the 2 Int's on very short fields).

Total Yards:
Ark 566 yards
Auburn 470 yards

2nd half yards:
Ark 350 yards
Auburn 203 yards

Cam Newton finished with 188 yards rushing (all but 20 or so yards came in the first half).

Auburn scored 4 TD's in a 5 minute stretch at the end of the game (let me correct that...they scored 3...the refs gave them 1 and 2 came after Ark Int's when Ark was forcing the ball down the field).

A lot of that has to do with Arkansas having the football. When the defense/special teams scores, it gives the opposing offense the ball right back. Which is why a lot of teams who generate plenty of turnovers start with better field position and thus have less yardage available to gain on touchdown drives. Also a reason why time of possession is overrated.

I believe Auburn has emerged as the team! Who'd a thunk that 4 weeks ago!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

LOL I thunked it... :P I felt they were a sleeper that was a little overlooked...But Arkansas should have won this game. This was something no computer could have predicted.
