WVU's offense, when it was great, was fueled by a spread with a running QB, a good RB, and a top notch FB with a much better O line blocking at the second level. Stew had imported the Wake Forest O coordinator and was trying to institute a more conventional passing game. West Virginia's offense is not as potent as it was with Steve Slaton and Pat White running the ball and Rick Trickett developing the O line.

That is the problem. And they had started letting Geno go deeper. He was off a bit last game, and they are conservative by nature, they got even more conservative after the INTs and the DBs just tightened up the box more...it was pathetic! One big problem, Woods was WVU’s leading receiver with 52 yards on four catches. He is like the 4th or 5th WR. Sanders, Austin, Bailey, and Starks are the higher options and then Devine too. Something was not right, I hardly recall seeing Bailey and Starks?????

I now worry they are going to waste the best defense they ever had!
Government exists to protect us from each other. Where government has gone beyond its limits is in deciding to protect us from ourselves.
