I started with the original site back in 2000, when I was looking for an solid source for the poll rankings.

I was annoyed that espn kept speaking of teams with the ap's ranks, and not mention the BCS rankings. It was confusing.

I wanted something consistent, so I typed in College Football Poll into my search engine. What I got was quite a few links, many from specific universities, and the Congrove "Who's #1" poll on a Sparklit.com link.

Back then, it was less of a forum, and more one continuous string, set up in chat formation.

By 2002, the forum format was constructed, where one person would post a thread, and everyone could respond.

There were several forums interlinked tho the Congrove community; such as, one poll forum for each conference, who's #1, who's the best conference, ect...

I'm glad to have found it, and I've been as active a persona on the forums as I could be ever since. ( back then I posted under the name: Quiet Storm ; the eye of the storm )
