Oregon v Wash St

Postby Derek » Sun Sep 21, 2014 12:38 am

Say what you will....we all have our moments of indiscretion where we look someone in a tool shed. But Mike Leach appears to be doing a good job at Wash St.

They are completely outplaying Oregon right now.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Wazzu is probably going to drop this game, but if only they had played like this against Rutgers and Nevada, which were probably more important games. There is no way they are going to a bowl game in the Pac-12 North if they drop this game, but they should have won those. Plus those turnovers, typical Washington State kind of mistakes. Leach still has a lot to hammer out of this program's DNA. The good news is that they have a great receiving corps that will keep growing. He needs to find a QB for the future too before they start dreaming of anything too big.

If I didn't know any better, that no-call pass interference would smell kind of fishy. :?

Saying they "escaped" this one is an understatement.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
