BYU v UCONN

Postby donovan » Sat Oct 03, 2015 10:09 am

Not a very pretty game, nor exciting. BYU has fundamental assignments problems and I suppose that will only improve by practice and getting use to the leadership changes. Too many turnovers and a stellar 4th quarter saved their bacon.

These games get third string announcers. If they talked about UConn's 2000 mile trip one more time. West Coast teams do that all the time. Though I don't like nongeographical matchups, it is a way of life when you live in the country and have to go to town. I only hope East Coast dwellers continue to believe they have a better way of life.

I am with you regarding geographics...

I have always groused about a conference having a team just an inner tube ride from Cuba and another up by the Canadian border.

I like match ups that have some geographic contiguity.
