I'm not sure how many want to watch the games tonight, but we have Western Michigan / Toledo and Northern Illinois / Bowling Green on the docket tonight. The Western / Toledo game (ESPNU) should be a fun shootout much in the mold of last Tuesday's game and NIU / BGSU (ESPN2) will also be a scoring fest. Bowling Green is tanking a bit, but they have a solid offense and the Husky defense is really poor. If last week was any indication, these should be fun games. The MAC really put out some exciting football with that 123-point shootout in Toledo, Ohio's come-from-behind win over Temple, and Kent State's victory over Central Michigan on a missed field goal as time expired.
My picks: Toledo 40, Western 33 | Northern Illinois 47, Bowling Green 30

Re: Weekday Football
I love football...but I admit that I wouldn't watch those teams play.
No interest, no connection. Not a midwestern guy, I reckon. And I admit that I'd rather watch a rerun of Green Acres than a MAC contest.
Each to their own, I reckon.

ehh...I prefer the Beverly Hillbillies, in black and white of course.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
