St. Peter's-Rider

Rider continues to excel in 2012 as the Broncs defeated the St. Peter's Peacocks 72-58. After going 3-11, including two conference losses, Rider has won all three all of games, all conference games, in 2012. Rider had a 49-48 lead and then locked up the game going on a 11-2 run. The Broncs shot 49% (25-51) from the field and made 9 of their 16 shots from 3-point range. Brandon Penn had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Broncs while Jeff Jones, a transfer from Virginia, had 13 points and 4 boards in 24 minutes of action.

Saint Peter's (3-13, 2-3) was led by freshman Lamin Fulton. Fulton scored 19 points and made 5 of his attempts from beyond the arc. Taking away Fulton, the other four starters only scored 18 points. Karee Ferguson came off the bench to register 11 points and 11 rebounds in the losing effort for the Peacocks.
