Whose Conference is Gonna Win It ..?
This may be a bit premature, due to Warrriorfan's presently incomplete listing --- However, he only has what's left to rummage through the leftovers still available to him.
Irregardless; give Donovan the credit for this thread, as he gave me the idea for it sometime last week.
This is a 3 week poll, which will end Sunday Morning to finish out the Second College Football Week.
You may change you vote ... but it will be finalized September the 15th.
So, Whose Fantasy Conference, do you believe, is gonna Win This Thing?!

I think Eric may be in the best position. If I am right, which is high unlikely, this will be decided on the number of wins without regard to the top 15 match ups. By the 5th game, teams are in conference play and the match up with highly ranked teams is spread fairly broad so save a few conferences, there are not that many. Looks to me Eric has the group that will win the most games, though no one team will necessarily be undefeated. I would bet somewhere around 37¢ I am right. (too me five minutes to figure out the ¢ (cents) character was on this computer....I have no life.)

I agree. Eric as a good grasp of the most teams and how they will finish. That said, I voted for me.

Re: Whose Conference is Gonna Win It ..?
I like Spence's the most, but one thing I haven't prided myself on over the years necessarily has been preseason predictions
Ohio State and Oregon will probably combine for one loss this regular season, two max. I think Florida will be in for a down year, probably 8 wins. Texas should win 10 or 9. Virginia Tech and UNC have easy schedules and could realistically win 10 games, although 9 might be more likely. A lot of people like Baylor's early schedule, so they're a candidate to win 9 for sure.
Cane, I think your team is dangerous too. Fresno has an opportunity to win about 11 games this season and the same goes for Ohio. I think Ohio will run the table outside of their opening game. Toledo should be really good too....I want so badly to have the guts to call a Toledo-over-Florida upset, but I don't think it's going to happen. I do think the Rockets will scare the daylights out of the Gators though, who may start off sleepwalking in that one. Toledo has a pretty experienced core of offensive players.
I like my top four teams a lot with Stanford, Louisville, South Carolina, and Nebraska. Nebraska and Louisville have some very easy slates to deal with. Michigan State doesn't have the easiest schedule, but they have a number of easy games sprinkled in so they look good for about 8 wins. TCU and Ole Miss are my wildcards since they have very difficult slates, but have the potential to become elite teams anyway this year. Louisiana Tech is going through a bit of a transition with Skip Holtz, but they have a Texas Tech QB transferring. I don't think Holtz will ditch the spread elements that made this team so successful in the first place.
I voted for Cane, mostly to get back at Spence for not voting for me

I took the competitor's angle, and I Vote for Me.
Because, screw you guys, this season's mine . . .
(of course, I reserves the right to change my vote, in the event weeks 1 & 2 do not pan out too well for me)

Mine of course.

I think you will have a pig in this fight. Teams look pretty good. Little disappointed you did picked the Razorbacks last.

Re: Whose Conference is Gonna Win It ..?
Warrriorsfan is gonna need some help from his remaining teams.
Kent State, W 17-10 vs Liberty
Utah State, L 26-30 vs Utah
Vanderbilt, L 35-39 vs Ole Miss (Eric's Conference)
San Jose State, W 24-0 vs Sacramento State
Texas Tech, W 41-23 vs SMU
Kansas State, L 21-24 vs North Dakota State
3 wins = +3 points
2 FBS loses = -1 point
1 FCS lose = -1 point
Total after 6 games: 1 point

I knew no one would want them and I could snag them at the end. I think they will surprise some people this year.

They looked good today.
