Lane Kiffin Just Won't Go Away
In yet another instance of somebody who has left a blazing path of destruction everywhere he's been and continues to get jobs in which he is extremely underqualified, Lane Kiffin was hired to be the offensive coordinator under one of the best college coaches of all time at one of the best programs in the country with national-title level talent. I'm talking about Alabama. If this is the beginning of the twilight of the Alabama reign of supremacy, hey, I'm all for it but karma refuses to kick in for this goofball

He must be the best interviewer ever.

Somebody might have said it on this board or elsewhere, but Lane Kiffin is to college football as the Kardashians are to celebrities. Everybody says the Kardashians are famous for no reason and Lane Kiffin lands these jobs for no reason.

I saw a Meme about why Alabama lost to Oklahoma and it was a picture of Kiffen. I think he "consulted" on that game.
Was this a good hire Eric?

They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.
The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.
See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

I like Nussmeier more than Borges. I don't think it will be enough to push Michigan into contender category this year, but it's a step in the right direction. We're two years behind schedule after the setback that was 2013. Hoke will have to hope that 8-4 will be enough to save his job because we don't do much better than that. Road dates against Michigan State, Notre Dame, and Ohio State are three likely losses. And an 0-fer against our rivals could be the nail in the coffin.

I just saw a recap of Kiffin's offense's record at USC...very impressive stats.
I think that Saban wants to open up his stodgy, but effective, offense some. And Kiffin can run a multiple offense from a pro set.

He hasn't come close to running anything effective since then.

I think Nick views him like a son.
