Braxton Miller to WR

Postby Vileborg » Fri Jul 24, 2015 12:05 pm

According to an article I read from ESPN. His shoulder won't be ready for a few more months for him to start throwing day to day. He wants to be on the field so it looks like he will be a WR this year.

That makes Ohio State a better team IMO. Miller, when healthy, is the best player on the team. I've seen him do things with his feet that I have never seen anyone else do. His weakness is reading defenses. He won't have to do that playing H-back. Marshall and him rotating and with Elliot, Jones, or Barrett and the rest of the wide receivers Ohio State should put consistent pressure on every defense they play. I think that if the players stay hungry and relatively healthy that Ohio State should be pretty good this year.

Absolutely, not looking forward to opening day. I think a little payback is in order and I'm not sure my team is anywhere prepared for what's coming.

I didn't think they were last year either. If anyone can attack our offense it is Bud Foster.

If only it was the same out of sorts offense we faced last year. No, this team is rolling, add the confidence, add the swagger and I predict it to be ugly.

The oline is going to be better. There are some defensive holes to fix and you never know, what if Braxton can't catch?

I just hope he doesn't catch and land on that shoulder.
I trust the medical staff has his best interest at heart.
So I'm not suggesting that he isn't ready to be out there.
It's just, I've seen too often a guy go out and re-injure.

Here's hoping for a great game from both teams Sept 7th.

He is cleared to throw. He just isn't ready to be Qb. He may never get the full range of motion in his throwing arm. Landing on his shoulder isn't an issue with this particular injury.
