Sportsmanship...

I love my coach (just win he could win the big one). This was a stand up effort on his part.

A Southern player got seriously injured during a kickoff return when he fractured some areas in his neck.

“We’re trying to cover him up with as much love as we can, and let him know that we care, let him know that we’re here to help,” Richt said. “We’re just gonna continue to pray, and I know the Bulldog nation is behind him as well. There may come a time where there may be some needs. Not exactly sure yet. But it does come to that I’m going to be calling all Dawgs to get involved and to help out.”
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Thanks for Coaches that are willing to give the larger meaning to what they do.

I have been a golf coach for several years now. I always tell my kids that what they do when people aren't looking tells the tale of what kind of person they will be. Golf is the only sport that you call penalties on yourself. I have seen lots of kids struggle with that. Actually lots of parents too. As a matter of fact the kids are more honest, But the more they play and understand, the more honest they become. That is how I judge my abilities as a coach. Winning that comes from doing things right is how you build a program. Without that foundation you are building a house of cards.
