I think that what teams are after six games is who they will be at the end. I think a team that struggles in the first few weeks can improve a lot, but after weeks 6 they have because the team they will be. Opposing teams have began to find and exploit weaknesses and even if that team may be winning the fact that their weaknesses are being exploited to a degree gives future teams the blueprint to beat them. I think fandom allows us to hope our team somehow makes it through despite the weaknesses. At least until reality hands us the loss that makes us admit that we had seen this coming for a long time. In this case there is no joy in being right.
