We can only hope the folks at Okie State are smarter than the folks in Washington DC…… and have not provided a modus operandi for players to get caught up in a point shaving scam.

I can still remember Rutgers vs Louisville some years back, where Charlie Strong [UL's HC] took issue with Greg Schiano [in his previous Rutgers stint] for running up the score, before going into the half.
At least, that was pre half time break, in which Strong simply should have accepted his lumps.
Against Howard, here, I'm assuming it had everything to do with seeing how fast they could get to the line and go.
If there's 15 seconds on the clock, and you run the ball twice. You have to be real quick to lineup in order to get that 2cnd snap off before you hit 0:00
Better to know you can do it, now. Than need to have to do it, later, and not be so sure.
