It’s not surprising that WVU Fans are selling their future game tickets and parking spaces, but when asked about that at today’s presser Neal Brown’s was…….. well, out of touch. I suppose he’s now trying to make Party Animals out of Football Fans, kinda like him trying to make a pocket passer outa a scrambling gunslinger.

“I get that they want to win. But what I would say is, did they have a good time? Did they enjoy it? It was a pretty good atmosphere. I’m assuming they had a pretty good time tailgating, so if they’re in the deal for enjoyment then I would come back”. ~ Neal Brown

It’ll cost multimillions to fire Neal Brown, so we’re probably stuck with Neal Brown..

……….all these current issues are the results of the deeds and actions of a previous Athletic Director. WVU eventually fired his butt. The why’s and how’s things are done matter, because eventually the consequences show up. He was nothing but a puppet on a string for others to pull. And WVU has paid and will continue to pay for allowing that to happen.

This thing is going to run its course, and it’s going to be painful. “How much pain?” one may ask. Well, that depends on how the current powers that be at WVU deal with it.

This man is simply out of touch………. Reminds me of when during the Apollo 13 mission, Jim Lovell radioed NASA and said “Houston, we have a problem.”, can you imagine Houston replying ‘…..did you have a good time?’

My guess is Wren Baker, the Athletic Director, has informed Neal Brown that ‘we have a problem…..’

OK……. I’ll quit and say No More.

My guess is that they won’t fire him until they have a grasp on the path forward. It would be easier to fire him, but with all the transfer rules and stuff, they have to get their ducks in a row to do it. They have to get with the players and and the position coaches they want in the transition. If they don’t, they could lose half the team to transfer.

Yeah, I was going to reply on this by saying ...

Why doesn't someone in that Media Room ask Brown; ""Okay coach, but, could you imagine how much actual fun those same people would be having if they were celebrating a win right now? Might even make them more enthusiastic about coming back.""

Or am I just being too logical, here?

Coach, you really should have just kept your mouth shut……

In addition to a big, strong, physical and in-your-face K-State team coming to town…….. insulted, angry and fed-up fans may get ugly in Morgantown this weekend, along with Airplanes flying banners over the stadium and billboards along the highways calling for Neal Brown to be fired.

With the game kicking off at 7:30 PM, I would imagine there’ll be a bunch of State, County and City Cops getting overtime pay this weekend.

Well, that certainly was the Miami fan approach when we wanted Golden out.

You just gotta have an Administration with the backbone enough, and desire for a winning program to be bold forward and make the decision.

It took us about 15 years before we got the ship mended.

Unfortunately, when things started downhill for us, we had an Administration that gave no support to the Athletics Department, saying; "Let them deal with all of the finances." Treating Miami Athletics as if it were a separate entity.

Miami Baseball, Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Swimming/Diving, Football along with Track & Field all went from success to an afterthought it a few short years.

Had it not been for the Alumn base, who demanded better, and threatened to withhold future donations {many of which were on Scholarships in some of those sports}, did the Admin say; "You know what, you're right. We should put more emphasis on the Athletics of our University."

It's a good thing that musical chairs are played frequently in those figurehead departments.

Because, someone finally got a revenue generator involved. And we're starting to look a lot better for it.

I sure hope West Va figures it out before they have a Miami tumble. It sure isn't fair to the Student Athletes these Universities claim they care so much about, to basically abandon them once they're on campus.
