Hey...

Postby billybud » Tue Nov 26, 2024 8:51 pm

I haven't watched any football this season...and a good one to miss...Shock and Awww-ful for my team.

Marooned after Helene for a bit..no power, phone, and limited food (thank goodness for a propane grill), and our road down the mountain blocked...neighbors and volunteers with chainsaws and a Bobcat, cleared a passage. Anxious to get in touch with our son who lives in St. Pete, we finally made contact...He was OK.

After surviving a heart event and a serious cancer, I am now in the best shape of my 78 years with a lot of physical work...helping out neighbors and then traveling south to assist our son to cleanup...ended up helping him form an LLC and buy a 3500 Super Duty diesel...He has clean up contracts, a contract with the Coast Guard to salvage/haul off wrecked boats...razed a couple of places.

Life is good...makes you appreciate little things...like coffee in the morning...(cowboy coffee isn't too bad), staying up past dark, etc...family and friends are everything. Have a great Thanksgiving guys...

Glad to hear you are ok. I never thought about you getting caught up in the hurricane, I was thinking you were in South Carolina. Glad everyone is good. With the storms getting more frequent lately, a job in Florida in the storm salvage business is probably going to be lucrative.

Seems the first year of playoffs is going to create as more controversy than picking two.

Good to hear from you billybud!! Glad everything is going well.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
