…….. while some are contending the Spring Games should be stopped altogether due to the games serving as a scouting opportunity for other schools to poach players.
I’ll bet you a shiny new dime that if there’s TV money to be had they’ll change their tune.

Now there’s a thought…….

I don't like the idea of a scrimmage between different schools in april. Spring games aren't games. They are televised, fan attended practices. It is a chance for the under classmen to catch the coaches eye.

I wonder if the roster reductions are a factor or what may be driving these notions????? Who knows????? It’s probably TV money to televise and ticket sales to the scrimmage……. that seems to be what’s driving everything else.

They already televise and sell tickets to most of them. It seems to me that full contact scrimmages in April are a bad idea.

Another proponent…….. with a new wrinkle. ‘Let’s give the money to the players as NIL dollars!!!!!’
Sounds similar to the guy at the Used Car Dealership who offers CASH BACK…….. and the cash you get back comes from the money you just paid him for an overpriced Used Car, the one with 4 bald tires, a radio that doesn’t work and smoke coming out of the exhaust pipe.

……. Well it looks like we’ll have another committee to deal with in COLLEGE Football. This committee will be charged with determining ‘WHO THUNK OF IT FIRST AWARD’.
This award will be determined by a committee comprised of representatives from all NCAA member schools, the legislatures from all 50 States, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Supreme Court of the United States and Chaired by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
This group will be charged with determining the winner of this prestigious award. This award shall consist of Men’s White Boxer Brief’s worn by a Hereford Bull for one week while grazing somewhere in Montana.
