The big problem with Heisman is too many TV guys vote. It used to be the print guys and they weren't as fickle as the TV guys.

The other thing that is happening, is if you are a voter in a certain market, you vote your guy number one, but his biggest challenger, you don't even list him. I see that every year, now that the votes are made public.

example: Florida writers and coaches putting Tebow #1 and McFadden not listed.
Arkansas writers putting McFadden #1 and Tebow not listed.

Maybe these guys are going to run for Congress! They would fit in!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

Only 1 of the 4 Heisman voters from Austing voted for VY. Only 1 out of 4 voted for Colt. That killed me.

The deal with VY was he originally said he wouldn't, then Mack pleaded with him to make a statement that he would accept it because it would be good for the Texas program.

If you read this, you'll have a lot better insight into VY's take on the whole deal.

It's a moot point now though.
