Cheating SEC refs

Postby Dossenator » Fri Nov 26, 2010 4:22 pm

If that was a celebration penalty on Fairly then Ingram needs a flag after every TD he scores. Just ridiculous. In stead of 14-0 and Auburn ball it's 21-0. Terrible SEC refs. I guess Bama paid the refs more money than Auburn did. Won't matter today anyway....Bama is kicking the living daylights out of the cheaters.

That was a horrible call. Auburn has crawled back in, I'm behind it is just the start of the 4th qtr.

And why would the refs, or SEC want Bama to win and cost a place in the 18 million dollar game?

If Auburn beats South Car the winner of Ark vs Lsu will more than likely be in the Sugar Bowl. Auburn got back their 2 defensive lineman in the second half and dominated Bama. Go Hogs beat LSU.

Auburn is playing like a team on a mission. The best team I have seen this year right now. Earlier on in the season I wasn't so sure, but they are clicking now.

Completely owned the second half of the game ... though, they really took control in the second quarter.

Once Auburn settled, they didn't look back. Bama just didn't have the horses to run all four in that game.

We'll see if So Carolina can fair any better in round two vs the Tig's. Should be a good one to watch.

Ark had a 4th quarter lead in Auburn but could not overcome the refs handing Auburn 14 free points they did not earn. I believe Ark wins that game if not for the 2 big calls that gave Auburn points.

That one was ridiculously blatant. Particularly as it was almost identical, and even slightly less than what the first guy to sack Newton did for his celebration in the previous drive...

Of course, with Alabama's amazing ability to throw away massive leads, it didn't matter. Hate to think that it could have though... even if it is hard for me to sympathize with half of the SEC's teams, including Alabama or Auburn. (Don't worry, I'm okay with Arkansas. )

I really hope not. If they do win the national championship, though, the media and the NCAA will look under every nook and cranny to find something wrong. They do it to every team that wins.

Unless it is notre dame who wins it ...

Though, say what you will about the BCS, but:

notre dame has not won a National Title since the BCS was founded. :D

Shhhhhh.....don't tell anyone.....but that's what we planned.

But you have a good point...the media darlings do not get the upper hand before the season starts.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
