Big East added teams according to reports...

Postby Dossenator » Tue Dec 06, 2011 3:09 pm

Boise State, San Diego State, SMU, Central Florida and Houston

I guess someone needs a geography lesson....or maybe not. Boise, San Diego, etc are all East of something...right?

Just insanity if true.

Well the Big Ten has twelve, the Big Twelve has ten. Why shouldn't the Big East be everywhere? Just wait until C-USA adds Blackpool FC, Manchester City, and half of the Australian Rugby league.

I'm fully convinced hipsters have overrun the NCAA and are seeing to it that conferences are named "ironically."

This is what the AQ bids are doing to people. There is no reason Boise State would move to the Big East Conference for anything other than an AQ. And what is a conference but a collection of teams? The Big East that had the AQ included TCU, West Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse. It's not the same collection of teams that had an AQ berth.

This conference is way east of Eden.

Again, if Boise goes to the Big East..then I will be relieved of a tedious burden...I have few principles but the few I do have stop right West of the Continental Divide. AM looking for a new log in preparation.

I like it, Donovan...Boise State...the new beast of the east.

But, as west as Boise is, they still will have a Big East partner further west in Califrnia...the sea to shining sea conference.

San Diego.....Maybe I will jump on the band wagon....reconsidering....and as for Barbeque....

Fish....no sauce...alder wood plank maybe...Salomon, Pink very quickly cooked.

Halibut... I liked poached..

Tuna...grilled on each side about 30 seconds..

Beef...Why would you want to put sauce on beef? What is the purpose....

Pork...Fried Pork chops, mashed potatoes and gravy, corn on the cob and hot apple pie with sharp cheese and vanilla ice cream. I think this works.

The scourge of raw and near raw fish that the West Coast has brought upon us! Along with Nouvelle Cuisine, flavored coffee, pine nut encrusted anything, and assorted art food that looks like the cook is attempting to win a presentation award.

Oh well...there is hope. Look for chicken and waffles soon at your restaurants as they delve into southern regional cuisine to be trendy...

No flowers in bourbon either. Guys down here don't drink those drinks that have funny colors and have umbrellas or flowers in them. And blended whiskey and Canadian whiskey is for the snowbirds.

Single barrel bourbons...I like Blanton's..but also sip AW Hirsch, and Knob Creek...
