Oregon State gets the gong.

Postby donovan » Mon Oct 08, 2012 7:05 pm

Sean Mannion is now reported to be out indefinitely with a knee injury sustained in their last game. He, imo, is the kingpin to their success. Don't think there is a good alternative. Mannion reminds me of Ponder, very composed and never rattled, maybe even more so...but alas....

Mannion was averaging 339.5 yards passing a game, second in the Pac-12 and sixth in the nation.

Mannion has thrown for 1,358 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions this season.

Vaz, a 6-foot-1, 198-pound junior, played in five games in the 2010 season, completing six of 17 passes for 48 yards. He did not appear in any games last season for the Beavers.

Ouch, that's brutal. After their horrible season last time, opening up 4-0 was a pretty good accomplishment for them. It should probably all go downhill from here on out :(

The injury bug can be devastating.

Arkansas has the injury plague this year.

Sorry to hear about the Oregon State QB being injured...they were having such a good year so far.

That's tough.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.
