A Certain Loss

Postby Derek » Tue Oct 23, 2012 8:44 pm

And here is why...

What I don't understand is why coached don't see this and do something about it?
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Jimbo was just interviewed about staying tough in the latter part of the season...this will be FSU's ninth straight week of football without a bye.

His statement about how you have to WANT to hit on saturday struck a chord...in the SEC, especially, you can't let up.

"To me, football season started about two weeks ago,” Fisher said. “Everybody’s fresh the first half of the season. ... You’ve got to strain a little more. You’ve got to focus a little more.”

And in these final weeks of the regular season, Fisher said the teams that are the healthiest -- both physically and mentally -- will have a major edge on the competition.

“Your body’s banged and bruised,” Fisher said. “You’ve got to hit during the week, but you’ve got to want to hit on Saturday. ... Morale and legs are very important when you get to a football game. How you manage that during the season is very critical.”
“If short hair and good manners won football games, Army and Navy would play for the national championship every year.”

I think they just made a lot of people mad. I don't know why you would EVER give an opponent this kind of motivation. But it's pretty stupid.

LOL...probably a Georgia "plant" to fire up the team....and fire up the student section.

I can't believe that even any Gators would be dumb enough to provide that kind of incentive...

Let me say again, that I'm glad to have bene wrong today....Didn't watch. Could not stand to watch what I was certain was going to happen.

Do I ever get anything right with this stuff??????? 8)

I've got a new superstition.....If I go to a game, they win, so that's OK.

If I watch it on TV, they lose....EVERY time.

If I keep up with on my iPhone app....they win.

No more TV.

I believe in the Constitution, I'm not fit for President.

I'm holding out for earth Czar. I don't have a plan, but it won't matter if I'm the Czar.

You're on probation, you have to sit out for a year.....
