Even though some fans think LSU should leave, I doubt the school wants to go anywhere. The SEC has been pretty good to LSU.

The main appeal of playing at LSU would be to play in those type of primetime games against great teams. That's why most teams offered a bid to the SEC would take it in an instant. Even if success would be hard to come by, it might be harder to field an elite team in a different conference at this point.

I would like to see LSU leave if that was seriously in discussion, but it all depends on the money and the public image, both of which I doubt would be in better shape outside of the SEC.
