This socialism is just an outbreak of Bernie Sanders liberalism...let government control everything.
Soooo...if you want to lower coaches" salaries...how about nipping it at the source:
Put a cap on the price of NIKE shoes. the amount that streaming and cable TV can charge, and the cost of stadium club seats. Coaches salaries would go then go down

Heck...let's go on a roll Congress!
Let's limit Congressional salaries and benefits to that of the national average...

For your consideration........
Does this demonstrate that ‘Honesty is the best policy’ has been replaced with ‘Political Correctness is the best policy’?????

I'm not sure they care about their salaries. The benefits, though, are an issue. Both the documented and undocumented benefits.
There is nothing wrong with the two party system. It is the ultimate check and balance. The problem in Washington is that when it comes to the real power, both parties are on the same side and we don't belong to either.

I don't see where he thought Hitler was a hero or a good guy. Too much political correctness that the guy can't comment about how Hitler was an effective leader. He was, so were lots of other evil leaders throughout history. It is hard to believe they could convince that many people to follow them considering the methods they used to control the masses.

.......it is curious though that this guy has a degree in history and is questioning how Hitler managed to lead the people he lead.

Yeah, that would be the big issue. Almost like he wanted to bring him up and make it part of the discussion.
I don't believe that having the discussion is bad. "Those who ignore history are doomed to repeat it". But if you are going to have the discussion it would be wrong to ignore the whole record on Hitler, the fact that he tried to eradicate an entire race of people tends to cast a long shadow over anything that would cast him as an effective leader.

With Hitler as his mentor, I suspect being assigned to officiate one of his games would be a good reason to call in sick the day of the game......

Re: FYI, Possible NIL Options......
Hitler is just a touch point....too close to our times for the monster to be forgotten.
If the guy had said that he'd like to have lunch with Ghengis Khan....there would not be an uproar.
And Ghengis' horde killed millions of men, women, and children. He is credited with killing 5% of the world's populati0n at the time...the deadliest acts of mass killings in human hisory.
But Ghengis is now more of a historical figure and less of a monster than Hitler in our times.

True. No one knows anyone personally affected by Ghengis Khan. I do think that if you talk about Hitler in the context of being an effective leader that it works. I don't think you should use the word "great" because that implies good and I don't think 99% of the people in the world would consider his reign as "good" or "great". He did almost pull off world domination so studying what made him an effective leader wouldn't seem to me to be out of line and just because you study what made him an effective leader doesn't mean you agree with his tactics. I think that we could all agree that extermination of a race of people is wrong on every level and can't be looked at as redeemable in any sense. But understanding how a monster like that could come to power should absolutely be studied, if for no other reason then to not let it ever happen again. Had is not been for his arrogance, he may have accomplished his goals. That is what makes his reign so scary.

Emmert wants Congress to pass a law that supersedes the states and Congress basically told him earn your 3 million and fix it yourself and if we think you have addressed our concerns we will help you.
