Now we are on to it. Hawaii is certainly has a latitudinal line South of the mainland United States. And we have determined they are so far West they are East. Now the only discussion....ACC or SEC?

Big East that is the COnference bordering the BIg 10 and the ACC. Placed their to cheer them up when they are feeling down about their conference!

And is it just me, but BB is so good and lamenting his teams stumbles and failures that an FSU loss is like 0.01% better than WVU losing for me! And that is just about 1.5% better than an OSU win by less than 47. You just know that Coal-Miner Spence will head into that diamond mine Saturday night and Sunday to find all the lack luster stones!

The REAL question now is: who is the best conference now that we have ruled the ACC out!
The preceding statements are solely the opinion of GoBoilers and are, therefore, probably not based whatsoever on fact, research or more time in thought than what was required to physically type them. They're probably correct anyway, so you shouldn't argue too much, because otherwise he'll just blather on forever. On the internet Al Gore invented.

I haven't got a clue! But don't forget the Big Easy, they are out too!

They let a good coach get away. I'd say they should go to the ACC and join FSU.

Just kidding Billy.
They’re either going to run the ball here or their going to pass it.

The fewer rules a coach has, the fewer rules there are for players to break.

See, well ya see, the thing is, he should have caught that ball. But the ball is bigger than his hands.

Ya know...I think there is some exagerration about the ACC. I like them better than the BE by far.

VT did lead the team now ranked #3 into the final minute and a half and played at the same level and could have won. North Carolina, missing a bunch of their team, schooled LSU in the passing game and, except for two dropped passes in the end zone, would have won in Baton Rouge. Cincinatti did just lose to a lower level NC State by 21 points.

Sure, WVU is ranked...but they also barely excaped from Marshall in OT.

At some point potential must be exercised or it is just potential. I saw a lot of potential in VT this year, but so far I haven't seen it materialize. When they were down to Boise with little time they had a chance but the receivers didn't make the plays. When they were down to JMU they had a chance and people didn't make plays. Potential is nice but it doesn't do any good sitting on a shelf. Now the team is in jeopardy of being lost to despair. We'll see what Saturday brings but morale is not a problem I want to be facing heading into a game with ECU.

Ahem, I am still trying to figure if I am West or East -- but I am in the future, exactly 12 hours from Eastern Standard Time US.... but an argument can be made that Philippines is further West than Hawaii and further East than Miami...LOL...

Its a game by game season, boys.... anything can happen.

Silverfox, that's right...Boise supporters are few, but strategically located. I watched them practice last week. On that day, it was back to tackling 101. Really trying to get the defenders to keep their hips low and knees bent. They were doing drills I could have never done even in my youth, which of course was circa Woodrow Wilson. They had this drill of practicing putting your facemask on the ball the same time you wrapped him up, arms right under the buttocks. Went on for ever. The deep defenders were practicing their timing on hits and being run ragged with coverage drills. I got the impression that the coaches are not interest in any more squeakers...and Wyoming has had some trial by fire with Texas...they will not be afraid, for sure. Kids from Wyoming are not afraid by nature...or of nature for that fact. Good to hear from you...keep the faith.
